100%   Organic extra virgin olive oil Titone

          DENOMINATION: Extra Virgin Olive Oil  TITONE,  product  from organic   agricolture.

         CULTIVARS: Cerasuola - Nocellara del Belice – Biancolilla.  

PRODUCTION AREA: “Valli Trapanesi”-  Locogrande- Trapani. 

ALTITUDE: 15 metri above  sea level. TOTAL SURFACE: 19  hectares. 

NUMBER  OLIVE: 4900 trees, shape of umbrella and low mono-cone. 

HARVEST  TIME: middle of  October  to Novembre. 

HARVEST TYPE: hand picked at start of ripening process and separate collection of olives.  

AVERAGE PRODUCTION : 4000 liter  of  olive oil  Titone. 

PRESSING METHOD: the oil  press one’s own and continuous cold process –Alfa Laval. 

CERTIFICATION: product from organic agricolture by C.C.P.B. (Consorzio per il Controllo

                              dei Prodotti Biologici – Bologna), an organisation that controls and

                              certifies organic products has been acknowledged in conformityto the EEC

                              Reg. 2092/91 – it has also been accredited to the IFOAM norms.

         COLOUR: intense golden yellow with light green tones.         

         SCENT: it has a intensely fruity, complex, with strong vegetable notes among which it is   possible to recognize t
                        he aroma of unripe tomatoes. 

         FLAVOUR: elegant, it offers to the palate vegetable notes, perfectly balanced by   bitter and spicy  sensations. 

PACKAGE TYPES: bottles 0.25 -  0.50 – 0.750   litre.                         

SUGGESTED USES: good boby, it can be perfectly paired with raw and boiled vegetable,  vegetable and orange  salads, vegetables and legume soup, barbecued   red meat.  

NOTE: the  olive oil is in the Elaioteca Nazionale  ICIF at  Costigliole d’Asti.
