Punta Ettare


Rare and precious Marsala Reserve, whose production has  been carefully provided. Punta Ettare, matured for over ten years in oak casks, it is a noble amber-colored wine, with a the dry taste, which originates from the grapes "Grillo", "Catarratto" and "Inzolia", all cultivated in the extreme western point of Sicily island. It is a wine for demanding palates, booked at the connoisseurs, for special occasions, or even served cold, as aperitive. For Punta Ettare we have chosen an elegant and exclusive package that, at the same time, preserves its scent and exalts its noble properties. It is produced  in Birgi Region, on the coastal band north of Marsala and   the grapes it is made with  are gathered late for a better maturation, and then aged in "Carati," and "Caratelli" (oak casks) for over ten years.   Features: old yellow colored with light gilded reflexes; intense bouquet; full and smooth taste, with scent of vanilla;  alcohol content: 19°. Punta Ettare has been confectioned in a bottle whose glass absorbs the ultraviolet rays of the solar light and prevents the forming of improper oxidations during the wine's seasoning.

Marsala vergine Soleras DOC

It takes its name by the ageing method (named "soleras") used originally in Spain. Gilded yellow colored and with a dry taste, this wine, with a proper ageing, can have a very long life (beyond 100 years).  Made with a careful selection of grapes, this wine is named "Vergine" (maiden) because it doesn't suffer any tanning processing; excellent as appetizer, we also advice you it for your own quiet moments. All the world envy us this wonderful wine. Alcohol content more than 18°, sugar content about 4%.

Marsala Superiore Secco DOC

This classical Superior Quality Marsala wine, is aged for over two years, and it is well known and appreciated all over the world. It is an excellent appetizer when served chilled, and it matches perfectly with desserts and some sorts of cheeses. Its scent is heady (due to the ageing in oak casks). Alcohol content 18°, sugar content about 1%.

Marsala Superiore Dolce DOC

This is another classical Superior Quality Marsala wine. It is particularly pleasant to the palate of the ladies (in the past it was named "The ladies' wine"). Its sweet and agreeable taste (due to the   abundance of "sifone"), makes it match perfectly with every kind of sweets. Alcohol content 18°, sugar content about 10%..

Fine Ruby

The common type of the Marsala wines. For the production of this wine red grapes  (such as Pignatello, Calabrian, Nerello and Mascalese) are used, and also a little amount of white grapes, which give this wine a characteristic color. It should be served chilled  appetizer, or at room temperature with desserts, sweets and ice creams.

Metis

The bouquet and natural sweetness are preserved by the addition of wine alcohol to the fresh must of Zibibbo grapes from Pantelleria.
The elegant bottle serves to further embellish the already excellent nectar which has its origin in the warm, generous cultivated terraces of Pantelleria.
Served cold it is excellent with cakes.

Malvasia

Made with a combination of the "Rosso Fresco"l and  "Malvasia" grapes and addicted with wine's alcohol. It is a sweet liqueur-wine, of excellent quality, appreciated for its intense and characteristic scent of fruits and with an agreeable and armonic taste. It should be served chilled or at room temperature, with desserts, sweets and nuts.Alcohol content less than 16°, sugar content about 12%.

Zibibbo

Made with esteemed grapes, eau-de-vie of wine and concentrated must. It is an excellent sweet liqueur-wine, of good quality, to be served also as appetizer or dessert. It matches perfectly with sweets and cakes, and is suitable  in pastries. Alcohol content 16°, sugar content about 13%. 

Moscato

Sweet liqueur-wine, obtained by special grapes with an unmistakable taste and scent. Served chilled, it is an excellent appetizer, but can also be served  as a dessert-wine. It is an irreplaceable ingredient in cookery and pastries, such as sweets and  ice creams. Alcohol content 16°, sugar content about 13%. 
The "Creme"

Marsala Fine DOC

Aged at least one year, of which eight months in oak casks. It is widely used in cookery as basic ingredient in many foodstuffs (e.g. sweets, ice-creams, salt meat  etc.) Excellent if used as a dessert wine to accompany sweets and ice creams. Served chilled, it is a good appetizer.>
Alcohol content more than 17°

Cremovo

It contains, when processing has been completed, at least l'80% in volume of  Marsala Fine wine, to which  sugar, alcohol, eggs and caramel have been added, in order to obtain the famous "Marsala all'Uovo". Once upon a time  moms used give their children some drops of this wine  as tonic and corroborating.

Crema alla Mandorla

This wine originates from the Marsala Fine wine, with addition of alcohol, sugar, caramel and natural flavours, including almonds flavours. Widely used for the preparation of sweets and pastries made with almonds. Excellent like dessert when served chilled.

Vino alla Mandorla

It originates from an original recipe based on table wine, alcohol, sugar and almonds flavours . It is a wine with a heady and unmistakable taste. Very appreciated in Italy and abroad. It matches perfectly with ice-creams, cookies and dry-sweets when served chilled.

Etna rosso Doc

Table Wines

A DOC wine from eastern Sicily produced from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Mantellato vines.
It is an important wine in structure and accompanies game, roasts and pecorino and other types of mature cheese.
Matured for eight months in 220 litre barriques.

Rosso

Vigna Alta Rosso is obtained from the Nero d'Avola vine.
Red Ruby colour. It ages four months in barrique.
Full flavour with palatable and bright ground.
It is ideal with red meats, roasts, thick paste cheese.

Sicilia Bianco

It is produced  in the hills   of western Sicily. It has a flaxen color with greenish reflexes,  an intense and yielded scent and a fine, full-bodied taste, and is preserved in a Bordolese bottle. Served at a temperature of 9°-10°C, it matches perfectly with fishes, white meats and first courses. Alcohol content 12% vol.

Sauvignon

It has its background in the Gironda, the Bordolese region of  France (the Sauternes zone). It has a flaxen yellow   olor with greenish reflexes, and a delicate, aromatic scent recalling  the melon, banana and the yellow pepper; dry, smooth, velvety taste. Best before two years at a temperature of 8/10° C. It matches with appetizers made with ham and  courses based on fishes.  Keep the bottle in a cool and dry place. Some possible deposits on the bottom of the bottle are the result of a genuine processing. Alcohol content 12% vol.
Arabesco Bianco Manifacturer Zone: Western Sicily island (mainly in the Trapani's county)
Grapes:  "Grecanico" fermented at controlled temperature.
Features: white wine with greenish reflexes; very pleasant and intense scent with hues of flowers' scent; soft and smooth taste. It matches with shellfishes, fishes, soups and fresh cheeses. Serve at  8°-10°C. Alcohol content 11% vol.
Arabesco Bianco

Arabesco is a young fresh light table wine with a delicate bouquet and a fruity harmonious flavour. It is the result of continous research and selection of the best grapes from vineyards in the Marsala area. It is ideal with first courses, fish and white meat.
